Válido pela 2ª Etapa do Circuito Catarinense, no sábado primeiro dia de evento começou muito apreensivo, pois as condições do mar não estavam favoráveis. Sendo assim, foi paralisado até as condições melhorarem, fechando assim, o primeiro dia sem competições.
Mesmo sem competição rolou uma confraternização de atletas e equipe técnica, mas no domingo como já era previsto, o mar estava em boa condição, tendo assim início com ondas de mais de meio metro. Cerca de 40 atletas disputaram as cinco categorias.
Nosso atleta Rogério Silva garantiu um lugar ao Sol, ficando na 3º colocação na Amador, já Sanderson Trevisan infelizmente não conseguiu desta vez, mas valeu familia Board Co., é tudo nosso.

Citou que o evento foi um presente da FECAB, X-BC e ACAMBODY para Balneário Camboriú nos seus 43 anos de emancipação e Atlântico Shopping pelos seus 10 anos de praia.
Fabrício Lopes, presidente da FECAB, agradeceu a Prefeitura Municipal de Balneário Camboriú e Liga de Esportes e especialmente a ACAMBODY pelo apoio por duas etapas do Circuito Catarinense realizados em Balneário Camboriú.
